Our work as an Intermediary
Dean Gordon has been an Intermediary for 3 years, focusing on developing only a handful of players from a young age and give a tailored training mentoring programme to suit. We also offer Intermediary services without any coaching, but all services come with mentoring which for Dean, is a very important part of what Pro-motiv8 delivers. Dean has been with Jack Diamond aged 20 and other players for up to 7 years (see the Road to Success), from one2one coaching and mentoring at grassroots level to academy, onto scholarship and then the professional ranks. Dean is in it for the long haul where he wants to improve the player technically, improve the player mentally, physically and also socially (communication, behaviours, self-esteem, confidence). We aim to give the player all-round improvement and it is a LONG TERM strategy. Good habits, right behaviours and a strong, level headed mentality. Dean is the father of Nathan Wood-Gordon who became the youngest ever Middlesbrough at 16 years and 75 days in 2018. Grassroots-academy-scholar-professional-1st team (see the Road to Success).
Dean has contacts within football through his time as a player but believes these young players must become FOOTBALLERS FIRST before anything else. Once you become a regular first-team player, the other rewards will come, naturally.
